I usually make a baby beanie that totals 60 sts. The adult size totals 72sts.
Can you tell me how many sts for a 2yr old .will be making some of your beanies.
thanks ,Monica
Hi Monica. It depends on what size hook and what stitch you use to make your hat. I mostly use double crochet (US) with size J Hook and you can find all the different sized hat patterns here: http://crafterchick.com/patterns/free-crochet-patterns/easy-peasy-all-family-sizes-free-double-crochet-beanie-patterns/ Hope that helps. <3
I have made the 3-6 months easy beanie. Now I want to make the the 6-12 months size. When I look at the pattern it is the same as the 3-6 months. It shows a total of 32 stitches on both patterns. Thanks for your help.
On the 3-6 month old beanie you are starting with a round of 8 sc versus the 8 dc in first round of 6-12 month old beanie. You can see a great chart for the crown and length needed for different aged hats here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hat-sizing-chart—newborn-through-mens-sizes I use the standard measurements when creating all my hats. Hope this helps!
I love the way you write your patterns. They are so easy to understand. Thank you for all the free patterns.
Thank you so much 🙂 I try to write them so that beginners can understand and how I would like to read them. I really appreciate hearing that.
Thank you 🙂
Thank you for the Patterns on Easy Peasy Hats. I have made different sizes and I am so pleased with the outcome. They come together so fast. I added bunny ears to them for Easter.
I have a question on sizes 3 to 6 months and 6 to 12 months the patterns are the same, is this an error? Also would love to send you a picture but not sure how? Again Thank you your patterns are fantastic.
