I love your patterns! Thanks so much for the great easy patterns! 🙂
I have looked and looked and can’t find an acceptable pattern for a toddlers Cheshire Cat beanie or hat to crochet. You do such accurate depictions; would you happen to have a pattern for this? Thank you so much!! 🙂
This is on my list of hats to make in the near future 🙂 I want to do several Alice and Wonderland projects so I will push this closer to the top of my list.
I’m new to crochet (never crocheted anything before), and I used your Hungry Caterpillar pattern to make a halloween costume for my baby! I would love to send you a picture! Thank you for sharing your patterns!!
I would love to see how yours turned out! Thank you for sharing with me. My email is

HI! I wanted to tell you I used your easy peasy beanie hat patterns to make gifts for all the men in my family for Christmas. I didn’t use the same hook size as you so they ran slightly smaller, but they still turned out great! I used an I (5.5mm) and Red Heart Super Saver yarn on all of them in a variety of colors and striped patterns. If you’d like to see, I can email you a picture of them. My husband complained that it was too short on his head (he wants his ears completely covered) so I added several rows for him. Also, I found that using a soft yarn causes the finished project to be very stretchy and end up too big for the intended wearer because of the stretching. If I ever use that kind of yarn for this project again, I would crochet one size smaller so it will be the right size after it stretches. Anyway, I have been crocheting since I was 10 or 11 (I’m 33 now), but I only know and use easy stitches so your patterns are perfect. Thank you so much for sharing!!! Happy New Year!
How much would you charge to make 2 Shrek hats for an upcoming production?
Sorry for just seeing this. I wouldn’t even know what to charge to be honest as I haven’t made any hats for purchase so far. If you are still interested I can figure out cost plus a little labor. Let me know. 🙂
I want to thank you for your patterns they are great. I also have Rhumitoid Arthritis and as difficult as it is some days to crochet some days I keep it
Thank you and I totally understand. 🙂 I started back crocheting to help my hands stay mobile and it has helped them so much. I went from tight claws to almost all the way loosened up fists. Only problem is learning moderation or I end up back in bad shape from too much crocheting lol
Hi!
First I wanted to tell you that I just love your beanie pattern. I’ve made some awesome hats!
I sent you an email the other day, to the email address I saw in another post, not sure if you got it though. I have a question to ask you, but I think its better done in private. If you could email me I’d appreciate it or tell me which email address is best to reach you.
Thanks, and keep up the great work!
I am looking for a lego ninjago hat pattern. Do you by chance have one?
Thanks!
Are you looking for something like this one? I designed this hat for one of my nephews as a Christmas gift but never got around to typing it all the way up yet for the blog but if you are needing it I can see how far away I am. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=556637284405181&set=pb.446486792086898.-2207520000.1404598906.&type=3&theater
Hello Niki, greeting from Hong Kong! It’s very amazing to see you suffer from arthritis and still can contribute lots effort in crochet. Thank you for sharing the patterns very helpful.
i absolutly love your work! You have the easiest beanie patterns for beginners and for those who just want to whip up a quick beanie for my daughter :-). I noticed youve done some video game character beanies and was wondering if you have found any free patterns for the pikmin game. My 16 year old brother wants a pikmin beanie but all i can find are ppl who want you to buy theirs and i’d much rather make my own. So much more fun that way :-).thankyou so much for your wonderful website and your beautiful work!!!!
