Soft Zebra Striped Stuffed Kindle Fire Holder Crochet Project
I am an avid reader but due to my Rheumatoid Arthritis affecting my hands, I was no longer able to hold a book to read for more than a few minutes. Turning pages was painful and my hand would spasm while holding the book. This would result in said book flying through the air losing my place. Rinse and repeat every few minutes and you can imagine my frustration. My Kindle Fire gave me back my love of reading! No more turning pages or hand cramps from holding books open to read. My only drawback is that it is so thin that I have trouble holding on to it at times or the weight of it would cause the corners to push into my hands. So I thought of a nice padded cover. I searched high and low, online and offline but couldn’t find one to purchase. So that’s how this little guy was born. I did write down pattern notes at the time but I’m not sure where that piece of paper is right now. If I find it I will share and move this to patterns but if I don’t, I my try to make a new pattern as I would like to have room for the charging port so I don’t have to keep taking it off. 🙂
